Em1 civic si or bb6 prelude

another for a bb6, I LOVED THEM!! im biased cause i myself also owned one as my first car. still miss it today
As a head up, the backseat isnt much on the prelude. but if you have been surviving with a s2k i dont think you will care much... Theft rate for this car isnt as high as a civic and also is a more rarer bread..to me the prelude was top before they stopped making it.

I am thinking about getting a bb6 as a track toy, maybe with more aggressive pads and updated suspension.
I wonder how the drive train would hold up when they are up in the +130k miles?

Em1 here. I still miss mine all the time. I can vouch for the theft magnet unfortunately as mine was stolen in front of my apt. It had matching numbers on everything. Got into a dc5 type s after that then traded that for the S.

Bingo, that was my first thought as well. Sad but very true. Probably why all the surving ones for sale are normally stamped as a salvage because it was some punks idea to steal the car and put the motor, wheels and seats in his del slow lol

EM1 man!!!
I just bought this one from a good friend a little over a month ago...it has been my little project. This will be my daily driver once I get another S2000.

You seriously couldn't pay me to daily drive an EM1 Civic Si. The theft issue is impossible to ignore, which makes the ownership experience not worth it. Meanwhile, the Prelude does everything better than the Civic and you could probably park it with the windows down and $10k sitting in the glovebox without worry. Sure, it lacks the prepubescent baller status of the EM1, but come on.
