Quoting this guy:

ended up having to throw the car at him and make him think i was going to hit him for him to move over.....if my family would have not been in the car I would have thrown pennies at him........

So he felt throwing his car loaded with his family at this man was a more rational decision than throwing pennies at him? From this we can all tell this guy is a ing idiot. But M3 beautiful car isn't it

I think the problem starts with people calling it the "fast lane" when in it should really only be known as the passing lane.

I agree 100% with the bmw guy.

I have driven all over Europe. They drive civilized. Everywhere except Germany is 130 KPH(80mph) but if you go under 100MPH you shouldnt be on freeway. Very few traffic crashes. When everyone knows and drives by same rules, speed means nothing.
In Italy someone was driving in the passing lane, a guy in an AMG Mercedes flashed 2 times...guy didn't move, so he hit him at well over 130 MPH(i was doing 115 and the Benz passed me like I was standing still... I was also in the middle lane)..
Later on that evening on the news the guy who was driving in passing lane was sited and had to pay for the fix job on AMG.(bravo to the italian police)
And in Europe NO ONE passes right, it is against the law. But here we have to because cheese dicks drive in the passing lane.
It is NOT the fast lane... you drive at 65 75 or 150 in right lane, you pass left
the soon as your past, you pull back to the right.

I will never accept excuses for it. I have been getting blown, cruise control set at 100, while smoking a joint and talking on the cell phone, finding out which bar I'm heading to for MORE drinks.. I drive right pass left.

Here's a funny one for you.....

This exact thing happened to me about 3 years ago, except I was the reciever of the "throwing of the car"

This nice blue civic Si was in the right lane, while I was in the merging on lane. I was driving my first car, a 1984 Delta 88 Olds Brougham edition.

Anyway, I slow down to let the Si pass, so that I can merge on to the highway. For some strange reason, he decides to stay right next to me, and match my speed, thus driving me off the road. Whatever, I blew off the steam and got back onto the highway. Im driving about 50mph in a 55 (car was slow ) minding my own business.

All the sudden, the same Si appears mirror to mirror with me (I am in the right lane, he is in the middle)

I just look forward and pay him no mind. Out of nowhere, he throws his car at mine, and nearly hits me. I swerve out of the way, and hit the right highway curb. I get back on and keep driving, thinking he just avoided a pothole or something. So I keep driving, and he does it again!

At this point, Ive had just about enough. I said to myself, if this fool is gonna try it again, I wont move. Sure enough, this tardlet in his civic goes for lucky number three, as he swerves at me, I swerve right back, completely demolishing his plastic car. (my olds was solid steel). his front axels broke on contact, his rear tire folded in ala back to the future mobile, and his paint was completely destroyed. Luckily, an unmarked police car happend to see THE WHOLE THING, and arrested him, while asking me if I want to press charges for attempted vehicular manslaughter. I said yes, and have been collecting paychecks for a few years. If this M3 did that to me, and I still had the tank, I would have killed him. People like him deserve to die.

on my way up from LA to Cal this past weekend, there was one woman driving her civic HB at 65 mph in the leftlane. the line was literally 20+ of only CARS (not even a truck!) When i managed to shimmy my way to the front behind her, i layed into her with the horn and flashed my highbeams. she then slowed down to 50! However, by doing so, the right lane passed her, and everyone finally got around her.
