Default The Evo IX"The best performance car on the market?

According to an Edmunds review I am reading, the Evo IX is the best performance car buy on the market. How do you think it compares to the S2000, although I realize this is comparing two different cars?

Would you ever consider trading your S for an Evo? I get bored sometimes, and although I love my S, what do you think of the Evo?

I think black Evo IX's look hawt!

Never driven one, but I think an awesome combination of lightweight performance.

Just goes to show a car doesn't have to be obese or make >400hp to be great!

I'm betting since it's edmunds, "best" is heavily weighted against cost and practicality = Evo.

Otherwise Exige S or GT3.

My next car will either be an EVO X or a 135i.

my younger brother has one, modified, and honestly, it is the best car i have ever driven. i have owned a my99 wrx, my brother has a b5 rs4, and my older brother has a 01 cobra. the evo9 shits over all of them. it is that good.

the only minuses is that it is a little agricultural in terms of build quality, but i can live with it.
and its seriously fast. his is running about 225kw atw and it handles amazingly

i recommend it to anyone

For a NEW car, in that price range, the overall performance is unbeatable. Therefore, it is the best performance on the market.

The EvoIX was definitely the best performance car for the money on the market. No new car available for $30,000 or less even comes close to touching it in terms of all-around performance.

The S2000 still handles better and is more fun to drive though, IMHO.

explain handles better please?

the evo has much faster laptimes, any idiot can get into an evo and wring more out of it than an s2000, the s2000 driven at 10/10ths is a handful, with the end result usually being ass backwards into a tyre barrier. so please explain handles better

case in point, i drive my s2000, i feel pretty confident in it, but when it rains, i shit my pants. the evo, i can push it harder thru corners at much higher speeds than the s2000, also, in australia, we get the proper spec evo with s-ayc, which u americans do not get, sorry. and in the wet, the evo is planted, does not squirm and feels a lot safer to drive, so tell me, how is the s2000 a better handling car, all the times suggest otherwise.
and ive owned my s2000 for over 6 years
