Hey I'm sure it's a great car, but it's tough to decide which is
uglier the WRX or The Evo VIII.

There's a WHOLE lot going on at the front of that car.

I would wait a year before buying the Evo VIII. Right now it doesn't have traction control or other stuff that makes Evo what it is. I guess they will relase the true version, with all the goodies next year depending on what WRX STi offers.

Articles say no ACD in preliminary models. Will be an option, but the spokesman said that there was no way to keep it under $30K with the ACD. Also 5 speed is the tranny, with 6 possibly coming later.

I'm wondering, what are the real differences between this USDM one and the JDM one...

compression?
tuning?
motor parts (valves/pistons)?
suspension pieces?

I heard that we get the detuned retarded version...
