Completely different good? Can you provide more color/description?

From a general performance, feel, fun per dollar perspective, how would you rate the Hondata reflash (with header)?
Completely different great! My S2000 had a much better powerband given the earlier VTEC engagement point, the increased rev limiter, and the overall AFR tuning. Call me crazy but I think I noticed an increase in fuel economy as well.

My opinions are probably biased given my past relationships with Hondata, but IMHO the reflash is a 10. With that said, if I was new to the mod process, and had the additional money, I would probably go straight to the K-Pro.

If you were to do it again would you leave the S n/a? I've heard a few people say that they felt the S was more "fun" before they were boosted even though it was slower b/c of the characteristics of the car. Do you feel the same way.
I wouldn't hesitate to go straight to FI. I enjoyed the car so much more, even if it was for a limited time. The only thing I would change is my approach to going FI--I would do a lot more planning and selection of the items to be used. I wasted a lot of money trying different kits, different exhausts, etc. I have no doubt that I could start fresh and create one of the most potent, and reliable, S2000s in the world. As much as I liked my S2000 I no longer have a desire nor passion for the car. I have closed the chapter on that book.

K-Pro seems great, but very pricey... If I was going F/I sure, but with basic bolt-ons, probably overkill, no?

Curious, given your close relationship with Hondata, if you know anything about the possibility of a FlashPro being made for the '06+ S2000s? Currently they only show it for the 06+ Civic Si and Euro/JDM Civic Type-R.

If you have the money, I would not consider buying K-Pro an overkill. Yes it is pricey but there is nothing like being able to fully tune your car. The reflash was developed on one S2000 with a particular set of mods. Even if you use the exact same mods on your S2000, there is no guarantee that you will realize the exact same gains. You could make more/less power simply because you have a different S2000. Throw different manufactured parts in the mix and the differences could be even more extreme. If you care about maximum performance for your car, you will want K-Pro.

I wouldn't imagine Hondata creating an FlashPro for the MY06+ S2000. Primary reason being they have a lot of money invested in the K-Pro setup. It wouldn't be financially sound for them to create another product for the car.

We've pretty much paid cash for all the mods. We do have some car loans though. My wife and I make decent money, but are far from being "ballers".
Sounds pretty baller to me to be able to do all that and be fine!

Here's some images for example sake... I don't like how the exhaust looks on the Evo IX, I wish there was an aftermarket exhaust that looked like the 330ci. It looks more decent and less cheap IMO.

I hear what you are saying, but I believe that style looks good on an Evo. We have a rally car and that is the prototypical style exhaust for a rally car.
