Default F20c vs K20

Ariel Atom claimed the k20 developed 245hp. I know the F20c has 240hp in
aspirated form. How can an K20 developed 245 without modification?
If they modified the K20 and produced 245hp, the horsepower attained is pretty substantial. Reading some of your threads, modifying the F20c in aspirated form is not worth the money. I'm sure K20 modification focused on the head?
Why can F20c do the same head modification and produce substantial horsepower?
Can anyone explain (no turbo post pls.)?

The K20 is extremely responsive to modifications. There are guys with RSX Type-Ss with a simple bolt-on package, tuned with K-Pro, that make 220whp.

Well, I'm not too sure which K20, I assumed the 1st K20 they fitted to the honda racing edition car they sold (yellow color they marketed a few years ago).

Why don't you give me some schooling on the variant k20?

Well you can't exactly compare a RSX's whp to a s2000's whp. The RSX will have less drivetrain loss being fwd.

The atom has a few versions available with supercharged K20s, and now the car will be sold exclusively with K20 motors getting rid of the GM ecotec motor for the us built models. Brammo motorsports lost the contract to build them here with TMI Autotech taking things over.

So, maybe the 245 hp version is supercharged? I know they make a bunch that are NA from 140hp upward to 300 in the top supercharged model...

Not really, their supercharged is an option and has 300hp. Their 245 hp is the aspirated.
