F430 +CBR 600rr
On initial acceleration from a standing start the bike will enjoy some glory , but when the triple digits come up that bike will be ghasping for air as the fezza pisses past
A 600 just cant compete at high end speeds

i agree. thats why the 600 can only do 150 and the F430 can knock on the door of 185mph!

True, but bang for the buck.....................the bike wins.
That 600 can do 150 mph..........................easily.

but dont be too sure about the top speeds you read in the bike mags.
twice a year we run high speed flyers at an RAF airfield , accurate TAG timing etc etc.
I havent seen an R1 break 170 yet , let alone the manufacturers claimed 185
The blade and gixxers arent much better. The real life conditions make a huge difference from the mag tests , a tad of side wind leaves the litre bikes struggling to even get to those speeds.
people turn up on their Busas and 12,s expecting to be knocking on 200mph , its difficult not to laugh when they start talking about how they have done 190 this and that , most of the time they wont go 180 even.
you have to be wearing tight leathers , arse stuck against the hump , and head buried behind the screen with your face on the tank, dont even dare look up as you are closing on the finish line or it will cost you 10mph, its just not as easy to even get anywhere near the speeds that the mags dare print
