No misgivings whatever.
Previous rides:
2004 Audi S4 Avant - 350hp 4.2L V8 (w/Milltek exhaust)
2001 Audi S4 Sedan - Forge exhaust, STaSIS Tracksport suspension, StopTech Brakes, ABT Chip
Currently loving my S2k 1300lb diet to the fullest - 2600 miles on a 2005 Silverstone with 5 incredibly fun track days on the clock

gave up an 03 Mazda Protege5.....never looked back! Kinda miss the space sometimes for hauling friends, but now I have an excuse for not drive on those outta town trips! S2K is the best car I have ever had...previous cars other than the Protege5 were a 96 Celica GT convertibe and a 91 Miata. Both great cars, but none with the performance / refinement / drivability of the S2k.

I gave up an '03 Evo VIII, I loved the car but always wanted an S2000. Didn't want to let the Evo go so I sold it to my Son. He (like me) is a car nut so the Evo has found a good home.
The two cars are worlds apart. First day in the S2000 and I am thinking "Where do I put my stuff"? The Evo is a lot of car for a daily driver (harsh ride, track car), but with tons of torque. Peak torque is at 3500 so you don't have to do much shifting.
I love the precise steering and handling of the S2000. Can't wait for my exhaust to arrive so I can hear the tones a lot better.
I've always been a car whore and appreciate the engineering and driving feel of the S200 more each day I drive it.

I needed a change.... something safer and more friendly to passengers (if you can believe that). So I got rid of my Harley for the S2K. I miss the Hog but man everytime I get behind the S2K I get the same if not a better rush from the sheer thrill of being behind the wheel. My little capsule where I for a second can feel like I'm Aryton Sena. Here's what I got rid of...
