I gave up a 350Z.. only thing i miss is the torque.
By the way the Corvette can't hold a candle to the S2000 in anything except sucking down fuel, that stupid thing is thirsty. I won't miss it when I finally get the urge to sell it. S2000s rule.

Well. I'm looking into an s2000 or a 350z now, but I'm being held back by an acura tl type-s. It feels alot easier to give it up for the s2k than the Z. I swear I was born with honda in my blood. I still havent gone through with it yet, but within the next month, we'll see. No more nav, no more bose, no more lounge cruisin'. Complete lifestyle change. Wish I could have both, but I figure I better get my s2k in now before I hit 30 in a few years and have to start being a family man. Ahh! But 8000+rpms? 2800lbs? Smoothest 6 in the biz? and my gleaming Honda badge? Sign me up!

I bought my Elise in November and still haven't been able to build up the strength to put the TT up for sale. It sits in the garage under a cover. Sometimes, I think the car looks sad.

Did any of you feel a bit saddened when you let your previous ride go for the S?

Both cars do lots of track events, they are both a blast.
And if you could see way back in the corner behind the CRX-SiR there is a yellow helmet hanging on a rear view mirror, that's where the '85 Honda Nighthawk 650 hangs out.

The S is my 3rd car and I only have guilt for 1 of the other cars I had....my first love: my 95 BMW 530i 5-speed.
It was somewhat modded:
H&R stage 2 springs
Bilstein Sports
Staggered Rondell 58 wheels (17x8.5f and 17x10r)
DINAN high-flo induction tube
control arms w/ 750iL bushings
sold that and bought this 05 Acura RSX-S:
only mod was an Injen CAI........had the car for 3 months and got sick of it so I traded it in and got my 05 Silverstone and havent looked back yet!

when turning in the leased 99 Lude in 02 for the S, I was giddy with excitement. Couldnt wait to drop the top and cruise.
About 2 months later it hit me that the Lude was going to be discontinued and I had, at the time, quite a legendary car. Ok Im exagerating but I still miss how universal that car was. It was blast to drive. It looked awesome when washed and waxed - in Milano red. There was tons of room for a road trip with the wife (trunk and cabin). It was the perfect D.I.N.K (dual income no kids) car.
The latest 2dr Accord doesnt replace it...much to heavy and Seville-ish.

it was hard to give Type R. Simily best damn fw car EVER built...also when you put a lot of work on to it.
But i still think that i did the right thing by moving on to S2K.
but I sure wouldnt mind getting a type r later on in my life.
