Default Ferrari FXX for sale on ebay for $3 mil

I was just wasting some time on ebay and I found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-FXX...599453973QQrdZ1

I am having a hard time believing this one. Ferrari is only building about 20 of these for its very best clients and I know they have all been presold. Since this is the case, how on earth could some place called "1-888-7exotic" get ahold of one? I know how strict Ferrari is with its ubercars, so there is no way they would let this one slip through the cracks and deliver it to a reseller. The only thing I can think of is that someone one the list secretly signed a contract with this place to sell them his when it is delivered. If that is the case, I'm pretty sure he and his children and his childrens' children will get the cold shoulder from Ferrari. Also, the other problem I have with this is that the FXX is not just a car, it is "an experience." The owner becomes a part of Scuderia Ferrari and gets to have his or her input heard by Ferrari to help shape the next super-ferrari. I'm almost absolutely sure that Ferrari would not do this for someone who bought this on the grey market.

But if it is real, it would be quite nice to get instruction from Dario Benuzzi et al on Fiorano. That would be a nice way to blow a trust fund

The VIN should tell it all.

It SEEMS to be real because the seller seems legit and stuff but I can't imagine WHY anyone would want to sell it?! Ferrari is probably going to be pissed that someone who wasn't selected by them will be owning this car.

considering the fact that the last FXX sold for $2 mill on ebay, I would say this is legit.

Even though its called "money," I highly doubt these owners need any. Then again if its from a dealership, why in hell would ferrari give sell it to a dealership?

No, No, and No. This car has been listed 4 TIMES on Ebay, 3 by the same seller, and 3 times it has met reserve, or "sold." I guarantee you out of 20 FXXs, NONE will be brokered for sale, let alone 3. Every FXX owner is hand-picked by a committee at Ferrari.

maybe the listing is just that a listing to get prospective buyers to contact them and close the deal outside ebay.
