Default Fiesta ST as Daily?

Thinking about purchasing a Fiesta ST as a daily driver. Does anyone here have any experience with them or any info on reliability? Are they decent for winter driving? I live on the east Coast and currently daily a CRV with 200,000+ miles and looking to upgrade.

Have a buddy with a Fiesta ST he dailies and he loves it, even tracks it on occasion. Granted we're in NC and the weather here is mild, but with all seasons it's still a blast. Lots of torque and the turbo is instant. Great little car.

Really it is all about the tires. If it comes with summer performance tires, you will need to buy winter wheels and tires for it.

I'm surprised how many of these I've seen. I guess there was a nice little niche out there that was waiting to be filled.

My Focus ST has been rock solid. No issues after 3.5 years and 91K miles. Routine maintenance and 1 broken end link (covered by warranty)
You will need snow tires for the winter as the stock summer tires do not work at all when the temp drops below 40. Pickup a snow package from Tirerack.

Few owners that I've talked with love them and didn't complain about reliability. I personally was a little disappointed with the overall interior quality and design with the FiST, but its to be expected for the asking price. I just picked up a FoST and haven't looked back yet.
