I am going to get a ninja 250 for a few months to practice and learn, and then upgrade to Monster S2R.

I wanted a naked bike.. I don't like the looks of S2R because of the radiator.. I decided to go with air-cooled motor..

Does anyone have any insight on what I am getting into with choosing an air-cooled motor?

I also could not find performance stats (0-60 and 1/4 miles) for S2R.

I also heard that it has the same engine one legendary 996 used to have. Is this truth?

Last question, is it trivial to remove the fairing? Will there remain any ugly screw holes? I like the look of monster dark but I want a bright colour at the same time..

Air cooled sucks when you get stuck in traffic and you cannot split lanes. Even with my water cooled bike, the temps still get pretty high when I'm stuck in traffic on a hot day. 220
