Staying with the theme or ignorance (I didn't even read the article, but if the OP liks it...it must be sweet) the worst drivers I ever run into at the track are WRX drivers. Not all wrx drivers are bad, but the worst ones at the track invariably drive WRX's. I'm not sure what that means, but I thought a thread like this deserved a post like this.

But I must say that as much as the Evo excels in the performance department, it is shunted by the horrid reliability and therefore not much better than the S with its minimal weaknesses.
Evo Reliability -

I owned a 2003 Evo for 2.5 years (23k miles) of torture and only had an 02 sensor go bad at about 19k miles.... besides that i burned out my own clutch at 17k miles, but that was after drag racing at the strip 3 different days (13.4@102mph stock), auto-x'd 3 times and went to the road course 3 times, along with numerous street launches.....

Here on the internet there are a handful of idiots who destroyed their Evo clutches (similar to that idiot "s2000chris" who destroyed his S2000 clutch and rearend), who bitch endlessly that it wasn't their fault and that the Evo is not reliable.

the 1% of the people who have problems make 99% of the noise.... the other Evo owners are all very happy people.

You think he knows where the Integra Type R and Civic Type R came from?
I have to agree with you on this one. Very true.

Mistus are not reliable. I think GM is right on the same level. Hey SteveC you might know about his, please shine the light on us. Which one is more reliable Mitsu or GM?

Yep... the author is clearly an idiot...

How dare he not understand that this "which car is better" stuff is extremely serious dammit??!!! How dare he have a little fun by writing such blasphemy??!!

Obviously, he should be hung by his pinkies until he admits that he's a complete 'tard and apologizes to the entire Evo community!

Someone needs to do something to stop these maniacs!!!!

Lighten up people!!! (thanks oshp you should see what they're writing on the Evo boards. )

Holy cow, what a fan-boy piece of tripe! Don't we have higher standards here? Who cares what parts are shared with what pedestrian platform?! Do you think the nuts and bolts on your car are special?

This one cracked me up --
