It's possible that the car in the first post is actually a test mule for the 2010 Toyota Prius (or maybe a Subaru variant of the Prius?)

Looks like a 4 door car, I'm thinking a sedan wrx/sti and not the rwd coupe.

there is a pretty cool article in the last car and driver that has an interview with the guy that does a lot of the camo for test cars. they often make coupes look like sedans and sedans look like hatchback quite a bit to create exactly this kind of confusion. that spy shot could be of anything
