Ford's UK cars
#12
Ford is very stupid and people who live in America and buy Fords when they sell - GOOD/GREAT - products outside of their home markets pisses me off to no avail.
Look at the Falcon XR6 (Turbo Inline 6, RWD sports sedan), the turbo Focus with the Volvo inline 5 in it, as mentioned here, the Mondeo, etc. All while we get crap like the Edge, the Fusion, etc - with, whoopty-do- Sync - voice activated music/etc.

Would love their Mondeo wagon/sedan. And would buy it without any after thought.
Funny thing is... Fifth Gear loved the Mondeo so much that they used it as the defacto standard for all other cars to compare to.

I really like the Mondeo, the wagon being the real looker in the range. In Europe it is a viable alternative to the Passat and even some spec versions of the 3 Series. I wish that Ford would be more uniform in its world-wide products. I might even consider a high spec Focus with decent interior plastics, leather, nav and automatic climate control, and with a sport version it would be an alternative to the VW GTI.

I just got back from the UK, Manchester and Leeds. I saw a lot of fords running around. They were smaller and looked a little different overall. Nothing looked so awesome that I would have to have one though. I saw some kind of civic Type-S too. I didn't know about that thing. I guess it has a whopping 140HP!
