Default Free Hardtop

They're giving free hardtops away?

Maybe Honda will follow suit? I know there are alot of AP1 owners who wouldn't mind trading up, especially if Honda gave a free HT.

they did it for Z8, honda will do it for free if you let them add $3000 to the purchase price of the car.

Unfortunately the hardtop accentuates one of the worst parts of the car; the really big B-pillar into the tall roof. It looks bad on the soft top and even worse on the hard top. The S2000 top however looks good. In fact the S2000 top and the Thunderbird tops are about the best looking recent hardtops I can think of. The Miata's is only OK.

The hardtop looks nasty on the Z4.

Hel-mutt.

Didn't the 996 Cabrio come with a hardtop as "standard?"

So, another incentive to sell Zs without actually cutting the price more? Maybe they have too many unsold tops lying around?

Someone called the Z4 a "design mess". I agree with them - it looks like the HT doesn't even sit flush with the car in the article pic...
