Friggin headlight replacement.
I'm usually a big cheerleader for ford stuff, just not today. Had to replace a headlight on a ford fusion. Seriously, ray charles should be able to do a headlight replacement on a mass produced mid sized sedan in 10 minutes. No no, airbox needs to come out, which is clipped down... which breaks... clips aren't separate, then there's the bulb. Should just have a tab you press down so you can unplug the bulb. Nope, two tabs hold it in place so you need to use a flat head to lift it and another on the other side and then yank it off only to find that the reason the bulb went out ibn the first place was because the plastic inside the plug melted which made the plug really tight and therefore difficult to pull apart. And of course the tabs that holds the bulb broke because they weren't designed to be bent back, but plastic has flex in it anyway right?
Found this after I did it, just wanted to see if I missed a shortcut:

So I pretty much bubbled my way doing it and outer much did it how he did it except I completely removed the mafs since it was two screws and couldn't figure out how to unplug it (pull tab out then push down).
I'm admittedly no mechanic but I did replace the top on my my00 s with a glass top, And replaced countless headlights.
I suck.
