The car looks mean in the 1st pic. I'm glad they put PSM in. It is truely a live saver in this car.
But $175k+ is crazy for a 911 Turbo. The car is way way overpriced(all porsche's are overpriced). I am not in the market for one but if I was I would wait this the prices hit bottom. A friend of mine saw a 996GT2 in auction go for $63k. Thats a $100k discount in 4 or 5 years.

Too little common sense seems to be the bigger issue.
With PSM, this car is perfect.

I still think the GT3 is fine but I prefer the GT2 b/c the extra power can't hurt and the GT3 only has traction control (not stability control). If they would give SC and let you turn it off that would be better than not offering it (as they don't on the GT3). I believe the GT3 should have stability control offered like every other Porsche.
I prefer the rear wing on the GT2 or the GT3 RS instead of the split wing on the GT3.
I like all versions GT3, GT3 RS and GT2 but to me the Gt2 is more desirable. I don't think cars 'need' so much power but as long as there are cars like the Z06 (etc..) then the 911 should try to match the performance which the GT2 does.
The GT3 has good power and the GT2 will cost a lot more so if it was my money I'd probably opt for the GT3, but I would prefer the GT2 if money was no object and I don't think the GT2 is a worse car b/c it's got too much power.
