That would be a mistake to call it the G25. I know that's not the intended name, but that would be a bad move. What about:

C25?
B25?
D25?

And hopefully this new car would be the platform that underpins Infiniti's 1-series chess piece.

Let's see who brings a turbo to the table first.
I've been waiting patiently for a long time and it looks like it's getting closer. Affordable, rwd, relatively lightweight (to me that's under 3000lbs) with an awesome powerplant or one with potential. So far they nailed the afgord, rwd, and relatively lightweight, but who is going to offer a turbo first?
I am partial to Nissans, but I am skeptical about whatever engine they;'re going to put in it since the demise of the belove sr20det. That said, should toyota/subaru bring a turbo EJ motor, I think they'll have the edge with the enthusiast folk because both companies are capable of building a great chassis and tuning a suspension (and whatever shortcomings will be tuned out by the aftermarket anyway), the great divide I think will be the engine.

how many of you would want a 2+2 hardtop lightweight coupe that's rwd with a highrevving 4 cylinder from honda about the size of the rsx/integra, that's priced below $30k loaded?

Nobody here I'm sure. Sounds like a total overpriced wuss-mobile.

I prefer the potential of turbo, however if they made an Acura RSX type S with rwd I would deeeeeeply consider it, I love the K engines. But no sense in thinking about it, Honda will NEVER build it.

It's just all the community has been talking about forever now.

I have my heart set on the Subaru/Toyota coupe. It already being powered by the 2.5 boxer is almost a near-guarantee that it will get the turbo love immediately following the initial release.

I don't know if you're trying to be sarcastic but what he just described is an s2k in coupe form.
