Which one do S2000 owners prefer?

 

neither, s2000 owners clearly prefer the s2000

 

An interesting corollary question -- what car would you prefer if you had to replace your S2000? How about if you had to supplement it? I suspect most would favor the RX-8 for the former but the G35 for the latter, in both cases because the RX-8 is much closer in design philosophy to the S2000 than the G35 is.

i like the idea of RX8, but until it's proven ...

 

S2000 and if I had to buy a second car, the G35. The RX-7 was such a beautiful car, I couldn't stand having to look at the RX8 everything I washed it.

 

As a second car, the G35. It's more luxurious.

As a replacement, the RX-8. It's more sporty.

 

So far, I see the RX-8 as a watered-down, compromised S2000. Therefore, I don't think I could be satisfied with it. I would prefer the G35 Coupe rather than an RX-8 because the Infiniti is more of an original. The RX-8 seems to have borrowed, stolen, or "learned from" too many other sources.

 

RX-8=funding murderers...why don't you just pay someone to kill you?

 

 

Ford=murders...you didn't know? Just ask any Pinto or Bronco II or Explorer or Crown Vic Interceptor victim. You pay them...they kill you. Easy...

Not trying to start a war or anything...I just get a little emotional about the subject.
