So i've been pondering the idea of picking up a little 600 or maybe older 1000. I've allowed myself about 4000 to spend max, no more lol which i know will restrict me to year and size but my biggest problem is the idea of having an S2000 and a bike. How do you guys do it? The car is as bike like as a car can get lol?!? If im being vague im sorry but if anyone knows what im talking about id love to see the responses.

 

If it's cold, too hot, I need to carry big stuff, raining, or someone other than my wife; I take the S.

Otherwise I take the bike.

question. why do you think you need a 1000?

 

Compared to my bike the S2K is a luxury barge that isolates me from the environment and fits the world inside. Not sure what you're thinking of?

Fit bags or top case to the bike for more storage. Wear rain gear to stay more dry in rain. I don't ride much on snow or ice... but been there, done that. Not as much fun as it sounds like.

 

If I wasn't into autocross, I'd sell my S2000 and buy two more bikes.
