Getting a present !!!
Schwinn makes a nice model to get you around campus. Wait until you graduate. Ask them to put that cash in the bank for you and then add it to your graduation present in 4 years. Then go buy whatever the hell is cool then.
I partly agree with Ubetit. I say buy a used car for use in the summer, put the rest of the money in an account and get a new car when you graduate AND get a job. In the summer and when you are home on the weekend or holidays, you have your own car. The insurance is a lot cheaper and would be under the pleasure category, which helps reduce the insurance. The worst thing that can be done to a car is to have it sit around. Things rust, condensations build up, etc. With a used car, well, you really don't care all that much compared to a new car. After you get a job, you now have a nice new reliable automobile that you have either no payment or a low one and you pay your own insurance, maintenance, etc. This way your car is truly your car.
roberthall....haha .....That idea is the SHIEEEET!!!!...but ...i need a car for college next year..just to get around to my TKD school and stuff........i think an 01 s2k will be fine..

Got to be a good driver in all conditions.
