Gloves and boots
Sidi is good stuff. I've never heard of those gloves but I'm sure they're fine.
This is what I wear...
I have Joe Rocket full leathers but I also sometimes wear jeans and a Honda Racing leather jacket that's very comfy and protective.
I've had the same Alpinestars gloves for 6 years...they've been through a couple wrecks. The only thing wrong with them is a big blinker hole in the thumb!
I wear Triumph boots that my buddy sold to me wicked cheap because he ordered the wrong size.
Arai helmet!
Had a bad accident with an AGV that got demolished but my head was fine...so I'd recommend either helmet brand from experience.

i stay away from anything Joe Rocket. Just haven't had good personal experience with anything of their's i have owned (jacket, gloves, boots).
for the street i use A-Stars' SP-3 glove. lots of leather padding in the palm, good construction, nice looks, over the wrist. not gauntlet style, but i don't need/want gauntlet's on the street. beware: they run small. order a size larger. they are about $40 at newenough and i have had mine for going on 2 years. other then the fact that they stink (i am terrible about forgetting to clean them) they look brand new.
for the track i have a set of A-Stars SP-1 gloves. they are a full gauntlet, but are their more economical line. they are a good glove but are noticeably not as comfortable as my SP-3s. They are a track glove though, so that is to be expected.
Boots i wear (both street and track) are A-Stars SMX-Plus. Love them. Not the most comfortable, kinda noisy, but VERY confidence inspiring in their protective abilities.
i agree with the aforementioned opinions in wear SOMETHING. Denim jeans is better then shorts, but textile pants are better then denim jeans. leather pants are better then textile pants. if you can't afford/don't want leather, look at textile. still not your price range? mesh. still no? draggin jeans. no? regular jeans. anything is better then nothing. get the absolute best you can afford/live with as NOTHING is more priceless then your life/health.

Hey guys, I need help in finding this website that sold motorcycle gear really cheap. They did not have the prices on the site, but you have to enter your E-mail and they would send you a link to the prices. Their prices would always change a little bit, but they always had the lowest prices on everything. any idea?
I'm looking for some boots. A* or Sidi

I always go to NewEnough.com for mail order clothing if I'm dead-sure of my sizes (mostly repeat buys).
Gloves? Held Profi's for me but their little brother, the Steve, seems good too.
Boots? Oxtar Matrix. It is lacking any torsional exoskeleton but is very comfy and plain enough for a street boot (I don't like the boy-racer look). I'm thinking os stepping up to a BMW Touring boot for that exoskeleton. The Sidi Vertebra looks like a serious design but is also a bit flashy on graphics. And I ride in all weather (their Tepor system causes more foot sweat than regular GoreTex).
