Ok, Pontiac sold more cars than Cadilllac, and twice as many cars as Buick. GET RID OF BUICK!!!! THEY SUCK!!!!

they need to think with they're pocket books and not with which car brands have "history" or GM will be history

That what we'd want as enthusiasts, but Buick probably fits a better marketing demographic than pontiac does.

 

As much as I love the G8 and the recent solstice coupe, I can understand GM's decision. That said, I hope they don't kill off those two particular cars because they really are good products. We'll see what happens.

IMHO pontiac has some of GM's best cars. WTF, why don't GM downsize to just a few good models.

Our subaru, chevy, mazda, honda, and ford are all looking to do better in terms of ... anything concerned with quality

 

As an enthusist I don't want to see Buick go away. Hell, as an enthusist I would rather see Lexus go away because Lexus doesn't have the history Buick has. Buick in the late 80s and early 90s hasn't done much but the brand has a long and rich history. They seem to be on the right track product wise. I'd rather they not do. Pontiac, well I don't want to see them go either but honestly, they don't seem to have much purpose. That said, the G6, G8 and Solstice are all very nice looking cars (though the G6 and Solstice interiors could be better).
