I have balls, I posted pics on the Miata forum as well, lol.
There are two easy ways to tell a GXP from a base model [mine is a GXP btw]. The GXP's have dual outlet exhaust and black front grills with brake duct grills around the foglights. The base model has a single outlet exhaust and gray grills with no brake duct grills.

Dear Form,
You have proven too worthy an adversary, and I humbly submit and acknowledge my defeat. You have truly triumphed heartily in your efforts over me.

@ Lithium - it looks great, I've never seen a single [cosmetically] modified Sol/Sky around here (and I see a pretty fair number of them). Can you just do some aftermarket springs and get a little drop on it? 1-1.5" would make a big difference!
Er, based on that top demo, I also understand why I never see them with their tops down.

When driving around today after getting the wheels mounted, I noticed two Sky's and a Solstice with the top down, but only one out of three Miata's with the top down. The top was up because I took the pictures in the parking lot of a restaurant I was having lunch at.
The silver windshield frame will be changed soon to black. I will also be looking for red door handles from a Cobalt [they share the same door handles] in the junkyard.
I'm also going to have the headlights painted black sometime this year.
Saki GT, I got them for both reasons. Every Solstice/Sky in my area has stock wheels and I wanted the reduced weight for racing [stock chrome wheels weigh about 26lbs].

The Solstice/Sky forums like the wheels. The SSR was the first true performance wheel available for the Solstice, with OZ wheels being second. The only thing with the Solstice is the selection of wheels available. Unlike the S2000 which has hundreds of wheels to choose from, we're limited in our selection.
Here's a car with OZ Ultralaggera wheels

I see a good looking girl with chicken legs. The thin spokes seem too dainty for the heavy-sided car. I see where you said your options were limited, but I think a mesh wheel or a wheel with less negative space would compliment the overall shape of the car.
Just my thoughts. Thanks for posting the pics.
