Got nailed
Friday morning I went for a long ride on my CBR929. About 100 miles into the ride I felt something stinging me under my jacket. I never saw the bastard but I think it was a yellow jacket wasp. It managed to sting me six times!!! The welts are starting to subside but they still are a pain. Last time this happened was a couple years ago but on average it happens about once a year.
Damn that sucks. I was reading another forum the other day and read that a rider caught a bee in his helmet since he had the shield open. The bee stun him in the eye. Man I am keeping all buttoned up from now on lol.
A bee stung my leg once while riding, back when I was young and stupid and didn't wear proper gear. They would have a tough time penetrating the leather nowadays. I would hate to get one up under the edge of my helmet. I have had that happen with some kind of fly once and that was dangerous enough! Getting stung in the eye? That is terrible luck!

Yea, back in the day, had one go up my shorts.

"reduce the pain, but keep the swelling"
the bees think that I am their giant queen
(I have a yellow/black bike with yellow/black gear)
they surround me anytime that I stop. soon, I will learn to speak their language, and order them to put honey in my tea on command. BWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH... yesssss

^^^...dude, you need to get out more.

this actually happens. when I ride with my group, the bees are drawn to ME. they really must be confused. all my other friends have green, red, blue, black, and white gear/bikes, and the bees don't like them.
or are you just trying to be a patronizing jackass
This reminds me not so long ago I was riding back from work (had dress pants on) I felt a pain in my inner leg and I thought it was a rock that hit me so I didn't pay much attention; I felt the pain again but with a burning sensation this time and when I looked down.... HOLY SH!T!! Is a HUGE BEE or WASP and I couldn't tell because I freaked out (I was going about 70 MPH) on the turnpike an started swinging at the bee and stretching my leg and swerving left and right (from a cars point of view it looked if I had gone suicidal). I was able to knock it off but my leg mutated for the next couple of days until the venom (or whatever she got me with) wore off. Painful, very painful.
