price increase doesn't matter too much at that point. If you could afford a 70k car you sure as shit can afford one that is 77k.

Almost everyone has their limits w/ which they're comfortable. The new price, combined w/ other ownership costs, puts it beyond my comfort zone.

the paddle shift tranny with dual clutch will cost more in maintenance late. it's not reliable as classic manual tranny.
Oh yeah. You can't.

If $7k is a difference maker, you probably should not get the GT-R in the first place IMO. The technology and potential for costly issues both denied in warranty or out of warranty make it a bit too risky for anyone on the edge of deciding whether to buy one or not.

This doesn't make any sense. 7k is a lot of money whether you are rich or not. I know many people that don't have any issue buying a 60k car every 3-5 years but think buying a 75k car is a waste of money. If you were considering the GTR at 70k and Nissan said they'd cover the first 7k in maint. costs I bet that would sway some people, it goes both ways. There is always a specific dollar amount for everyone for every purchase where it becomes "too much".
