Default GTR Dyno!

"According to testing done on a Dynapack dynamometer, the new GT-R pumps 482PS (475hp) to all four hubs, with torque peaking at 580Nm (428lb-ft) at the hubs."

"Assuming parasitic drivetrain losses around 15% - although the loss could be even larger given the GT-R

so it roughly has 540 hp or so , which explains its lap times.

800hp for <40k$ otherwise I'm buying a corvette.

Just wait until they turn the boost up to the max the stock turbos can handle.. the earth's crust will be begging for mercy.

Its hard to believe that they would artificially give the public a lower HP #.

I would like to see Dyno data from other cars and on other dyno's.

I agree MDXLuvr, accept it seems to be a semi-common theme these days. I guess track times mean more than HP numbers with some cars. Would the GTR get as much hype for its ring time if Nissan said it actually had 550hp? Might sound goofy but you never know what they are thinking/have tested.

Is this the normal dyno jet models or this like the temple of VTEC where they measure it at the wheels/hubs and gives a high output?
