MUCH better than the 997TT comparison IMO, and it really made the R35 look better.

No implication that it was the maximum possible from each car, just one warmup lap, and one hotlap, in very cold weather, without practice. Same thing with the aceleration runs. Very honest comparison of everyday performance, and the accessability of performance to the average joe.

Wow, it's official, unless Honda pulls a rabbit out the hat and makes one damn incredible NSX successor...I'm going to be in a GT-R in 5 years.

Awesome videos, excellent commentary. This should be the way all comparison tests should be done.
That was the single coolest video comparison test I've ever seen. Damn.

so that's my 3 favorite cars, the reviewer owns a M3 and it came in dead last without a doubt.

That was good stuff. Real world. Pretty informative.

What's weird to me is hearing the GT-R described positively in terms that are negatives for other cars. E.g., "It does everything for you." No clutch. Huge. Weighs a ton. Etc. And with all that, it still obviously is a fantastic car.

Aside from the interior design nitpicking, I'd say JC @ Top Gear will praise this car throughout the entire GTR segment until at the last second where he'll complain about it not having any "soul" or "character" because it's operated like a flawless machine.
