Yeah, puts in me a deep depression.
(J/K!) Never would I have thought Obama could come back from such far behind only just a few weeks ago. And no, the GT-R can kick Obama's ass; the only ass it can't kick is Hillary's.
Serious question: is it an indication that racism virtually doesn't exist anymore, given the fact that the majority of whites are now voting for a black man?

I'm trying to find the fly in the ointment (of the GTR). to me it's very close to the cost of the M3
I am trying to figure why not buy a GTR?

Looks is a subjective thing. IMO, I really like the way it looks in person. It was stunning.
At $70K I would really condider this, but right now it isn't even really close to that. I have gone to dealers here & everyone wants from $20K+ over MSRP. At $70K it is compelling, but at $90K it just just too much. Not to much for the performance, just too much for the car.
People say wait for a year or two, I guess we will see where it is then.
two related vids
a brand new unbroken in GT-R driven near the limit beats a 911Turbo driven at the limit.

You guys should see the responses on the M3 forum, theyre all crying a river about the test.
They can cry all they want, It just doesn't have a chance...
I don't think the M3 forums are too afraid yet... after all the M3 isn't supposed to truly compete with the GT3 (GTR is debatable). Its aimed more at the Carrera/Carrera S. However, obviously people cross shop so they end up getting compared.
The ///M fan boys like myself can start worrying after the new CSL is launched... then we'll have a real comparison

I still think the 911 GT3 sounds-looks more fun to drive than a GT-R; did anyone pay attention to the sounds the Porsche was making close to redline?
The reviewer didn't say the GT-R was more fun; he said it was much easier to drive faster around a track, which we all knew.
And duh! the M3 isn't a track car and its brakes won't be up to 911 or GT-R standards....no news here...
The GT-R sounded too quiet! Can't wait until someone slaps an exhaust on that thing.

Thanks for posting the links to videos .... one of the better comparos I've seen (and by far the best one so far with R35 GTR in it).
Btw, is that driver Middle Eastern?
He's English ... Chris Harris.

Dont remember which review it was but one said something along the lines of how the GT-R makes you think it could go faster if you weren't driving it.
I think that pretty much sums up what ppl have been saying here and on that review.
