Hands down the worst auto design changes....

Lexus SC is another I would add to the list. Looked great for the 92-00 models, like with the MR2, Toyota turned it into a ladies car, an old lady at that.
Absolutely right. The SC430 is an affront to the great design of the SC300 and SC400.

I did not see anyone mention the re-designed G-wagon yet. Despite the "thug" appeal, the original design was classic, now it's just another SUV.
I also did not care for the mid-model update on what proved to be the final Camaros and Firebirds. It looked like the Camaro rear-ended a chrysler LHS, while the headlights on the Firebird/Trans Am just never looked like they were closed.
Whoever mentioned the Galant was dead-on. For awhile it looked so good that Lincoln took the design, made it rear-wheel drive and called it the LS. Now it is one of the most forgettable cars on the market.

I'll add another. The first Nissan 300ZX (1984?). They took all the sex out of the earlier 280ZX, which itself took the sport out of the 240/260/280Z's but made a great affordable GT car. I think it got slower too? Gack!
