Well, the R1 is my roommates bike. It definetly pulls harder off the line, but the powerband is unpredictable.

The MV rides smooth and needs to be reved up high to feel the pull.

OFcourse.. MV hands down!

How is the power band unpredictible? The R1 I had had a *perfect* power band. Tons of power down low with no jumps or glitches to the even more TONS of power up top. Maybe it's the pipes installed on his bike that is giving him air/feul ratio problems.

very nice MV the R1 also. I agree, the R1 is a very powerful bike. If i was to buy a japanese bike it would be and R6 or R1. what kind of exhaust is on the mv and did u get a chip for it?

All parts on my bike are casoli products which include the exhaust, front fender, rear hugger, and rear sets

yes it was. he was riding the same bike but different model. I think it was the flat black MV Agusta SPS
