I know it is an internet only commercial, not unlike the cat killing Ford one, but holy crap...if this wouldn't start off a shit storm.

It doesn't bother me, but the flack ford took for the cat killing one is nothing compared to what VW might take for this one. It is pretty politically/socially charged subject showing that in a car commercial.

It is intended for a UK audiance.
In the UK people have a very different sense of humour (way of dealing with taboo topics).
Oh and they have also been playing the terroist game a hell of a lot longer.

Relax.

I dont think VW actually created this, and I think that in time, it will be proven as a spoof.

The commercial it self is pretty stupid. "small but tough"???? What's the correlation between a car bomb and their car being tough?

It's not even funny.....

That's pretty funny stuff. I'd like to believe it's the real deal, as a commercial.

I know the car didn't blow up and that's why they are saying it's tough but who ever came up with THAT as an example of a car being "tough" is lame IMO.

I'll say it again.....that commercial is WEAK SAUCE!!

The Toyota Tacoma falling down the cliff without any damage is a good commercial.
I don't know... A car that can withstand a bomb sounds kinda tough to me.
