Help me pick a Monster!
It has all come down to this:
'06 S2R 800, 2677 miles, 1 year left on warranty:

Or for $1K more:
'05 S4R, 2800 miles, probably $3K in mods:

I think I'm getting more bike for the money with the S4R but the 800 looks so badass and is probably easier to live with.
Man, tough choice but sure is fun!

damn those are some sick monsters! i love my little 620, its tha shit!
id say get the 800 ( i like the sargent seat and the ex-box) , the cost to maintain the s4r will be higher (ducati parts/service in general is pretty expensive) , however its a bit more bike!
if was up to me, the s2r 800 all the way. that thing looks so bad ass, someone did it up right!

I would say that you will probably be happier all around with the s4r. I own an s4r and a very close friend of mine has a s2r800. Aside from the fact that the s4r has a ton more power and a dry cluch it also has more available parts.
Thats my .02 cents.
