I wouldn't do it. Then again.. maybe I would do it, sell the Z, buy another S and put a SC or turbo in it with the left over cash. Not really a tough choice for you though... Since you already bought your S, you probably could have bought a Z if you really wanted one before.

newness is always desirable. I agree with this.

I think this is over-stating it a little, but, assuming the Z is in the same type of shape as your S, there is a value difference, so if you want to get out of your car sometime soon, this is a good opportunity, even if you don't really want the Z.

Terrible interior, feels big and lumbers about, not a convertible...

I test drove a 350Z and didn't care for it at all. I bought my S2000 the day after I test drove it. If you want to experience the Z, it sounds like your neighbor would be willing to trade off cars with you every now and then which would be a good alternative.

personally i like the 350 Z, and is it the VQ35HR thats in it? has two intake ducts...easiest way to tell.

their original VQ35DE had some issues.

that being said, i would not trade. the 350z really has nothing special about it. the motor is common, the car is common etc. it wasnt a stretch for nissan to build it. The s2000 is more of a commemorative car. its a cool statement to be driving everyday.

I own a Infiniti g37 ( similar but slightly bigger engine than the 350z) with the 3.7 liter v6 and an ap2. From looking at an owner's point of view, I enjoy both cars and both have something different to offer in their own respective ways. Ultimately the choice is yours. I would recommend doing a few trade days and going from there.

Don't dooooooooooo it. I regret selling my S2000 and I own a Cayman. That may give you an indication about how special the S2000 is...
