I need to compare japanese cars, to American cars and European cars. Also characteristics and pros/cons of Japanese cars.

Uh...what about www.s2ki.com

Seriously, a web forum that is focused on one type of car will give you shady details.

Basically.
American = Bargain...They break more easily, but they're cheap to fix. Big engine = big power philosophy...
Japanese = Reliability... Outstanding build quality, it'll take longer to break. Smaller engines because of the want for better fuel economy in the JDM...
Eurpean = Style...Searching on the net, you will hear a lot about Euro stye. Image. BMW, Porche, Mercedes Benz...

You might want to think about the different management philosophies behind the car companies; American vs. Japanese vs. European.

This might give you some insight to the differences in marketing and cars.

I think a bargain (when it comes to cars) takes into account not only initial cost but also maintenance and running costs as well as performance. As such, American (or rather, domestic) cars are not generally and necessarily bargains. Some are bargains in certain areas but rarely are they actually bargains overall. They're cheap to buy (in general), not bargains. There is a difference.

For bargain, I meant that a Camaro Z28 is about $10,000 cheaper than say and S2000. It is also a heck of a lot faster. That's a bargain.

Less technology and more displacement.

I was just trying to help.
