It's essentially the same car as the Pontiac G8, except for some exterior changes of course. They should make a 2 door version in the G8 in North America.

sweet car, but we all know it would not be successful. gm has given us the G8 and no one wants it, so clearly this would not work with the camaro in full production.

If GM goes bankrupt, I wonder what future Holden has.

Overall, I like this car better than the current G8, and from a design standpoint, although I like the Camero, this coupe is far more interesting because it is not a retro design. I am not sure about the side exhaust pipes, and I would want to get a better look at the rear defuser which may be more for looks than function. I am now officially tired of cars with side vents. If these are functional, well I wish Holden had designed a better solution. Every car has vents, and they have now been relegated to the status of cliche. These three details are overwrought.

The wheel arches are particularly attractive, and the sloping roof line of the coupe is a very classy, almost Germanic. I would like to get a closer look at the interior. I think it's about as attractive as the G37 (a coupe I really like), perhaps because it's more muscular. It does look heavy though. I would be curious to know it's performance and whether GM sells it with its direct injection V-6. A slick 6-speed and that engine would make a nice combination depending on weight.

The picture above looks kinda good, but the others look weird. I doubt it'll succeed here because it seems expensive.

The 2-door version was called the GTO... and it failed... even though I had one and loved it
