Honda E production details - $32k = DOA?
Honda's E production details were released earlier this week - $32k for a micro car.... um... Isn't that a few grand shy of a Model 3? And isn't the eGolf more attractive?
Is the concept worth the money? The dash is certainly cool looking...

I don't know how many people would agree with you that an e-Golf is more attractive. Yes, it's close to a Model 3 but in the same way many people spend $32k or more on Minis when other far more practical (and frankly better) cars exist at or below the same price, it may very well sell.
I think it looks pretty cool, but agree that you have to love the look and size of it in order for it to make sense.

horrible, the dash looks like they taped a bunch of cel phones end to end, and added in some ugly faux wood panels. Even the steering wheel looks like crap.

I find the Honda better looking than both the A3 and Golf. That Honda is one of their better designs in recent years.

If that is $32k before $7500 tax credit they will sell as many as they make.

Not coming to the US (for now) so irrelevant, either way. The listed price is a converted price from UK pounds, which don't usually translate directly across to dollar costs in North America.
For example, a base Mustang GT is nearly 43K pounds in the UK while it's $37K in the USA.

I really liked the concept, but the production version is less attractive. For ~$25k after rebates, it should be interesting to see how it does.
