Good for the lil ole Honda!
Honda seems like they are concentrating on "green" cars much more than sports or sporty cars for the near future. Honda is a business, and a business is in it to make money, so whichever way it feels is most profitable, it'll go that route. I'm guessing "green" cars are much more profitable than sports cars.
Holy smokes! It went from 1.9B to 3.25B!

i have to disagree. honda ad people SUCK! their ads are horrible and they convey boringness. at least toyota has a catchy tune. honda could do so much better if they wanted to, but since things are already going well. why bother.
Did you see the latest Honda Civic Hybrid commerical?
It certainly is not boring, just that you know Honda is behind the hybrid sells game when you have to spoof the Prius commerical.

Im glad HONDA is doing well. Eventually this reflects to us (the true car enthusiasts) with other cars like the S2000. Im confident HONDA will not let us down.

For 2009, after the S2k, Honda has NOTHING to offer performance wise.
You claim the Civic Si is "sporty", yet the V6 accord is faster.
Toyota/Honda are going for the money. I see Nissan being the only "sporty" manufacturer from Japan that offers more than 1 sports car.

If you want a super fast car...you spend super big bucks and go with the Ferraris, Porsches and Lambos of the world.
You want top quality, value, innovative engine technology, and a car for the everyday man and woman that will last you a long time and is dependable....you buy a Honda....the car that sells itself.

At least here in the U.S..
Honda seems run some pretty cool ads in the U.K.. They get "Cog" and "Impossible Dream." We get Mr. Opportunity

Well there is Mitsubishi who makes a performance sedan for a decent price (Evo), and Subaru, who will be getting my money next year for a Sti hatchback. Honda is after the buck, and they won't be getting any of mine for some time to come. I've bought 7 of their automobiles, and 4 of their motorcycles in the past, and IMHO, they are slipping on both fronts.
Nissan is making exciting cars (GTR, G35 coupe and Sedan, Z, M45), and as I said Mitsu and Suby have their models. Honda isn't doing shit and the Canadian built one I own currently isn't up to the same standards I'm used to with them. Hello Subaru
