huge difference in audience reception
http://www.planetporsche.net/cayman-boxste...rrari-f430.html
A good writeup from a guy who owns both an F430 and a Cayman S, and it was just hilarious to see all the "oh thank you for writing the comparison" and seeing people falling over themselves fawning all over it. Look at some other threads where some people came over from EVO, from STi, from S2000, from Corvette and you'll see a huge difference in attitude.
After spending some time there, I'm going to say that porsche owner stereotype are well deserved, even though there are some genuine enthusiasts there.

I just read that thread and didn't read anyone coming off as elitist, stuck up, etc... ?
but if you've been on that forum a while and look at some other contributors/posters that do comparison between the Cayman vs. most other cars, you'll see a huge discrepancy in attitude, and THAT is where my beef is.
