I call BS on this article
I really call BS on this article. Total false information as far as lap times goes.
Just look at the lap time of each vehicle and where they stand.

so what's BS? and what are you BS claims on? you don't like the results...
So in conclusion, I think that the test was Bias toward the American cars. This is base on my knowledge that I have gather for the past few years about these car.
stick with BM videos if you want personal opinions to trump reality. I'm not saying magazine times are all that, but at some point, you have to base your opinions on reality, and they provided it. Either adjust your opinions to reflect the way things are, or deal with the fact that your opinions don't reflect reality.

I dont' like result at all, I don't think the lap times was done by the same driver or closely match driver for that matter. For example, I don't think it is possible for the GT500 to be on par with the 911 turbo especially in a 3 minutes lap. I have read a few comparision with the 911 and the Z06 and they posted very similar time around a course with the Z06 being slightly faster.

I stand by my opinion and still call this article and this article alone BS. I know most of these cars by heart and I know where they stand. I am not saying that GM and Chevy paid to have to result to be better, but clearly it seem like the Z06, base C6 and GT500 definitely have the faster drivers.
Tell me if this sound right: the article has the base C6 to be 1 sec faster than the R8 and more than 2 secon faster than the 911 turbo. Any car guy that know about these cars will tell you that this is BS. And they said that a Shelby GT500 can is only a .1 sec slower than the 911 turbo? Can you see what is wrong with that? A 3800 lb mustang with a solid rear axle can keep up with a 911 turbo?
And here is my back up facts: previous comparision article that was done.
