I'd argee with that too, but would guess that the Toyota name would carry a little better long term resale value.

I don't care what the badge is - a good car is a good car.
You don't have to sell them.

i would rather they brand it under the Subaru name (but that wont get as many customers im sure)

but since they are doing it under the toyota/scion brand
i would LIKE to see it under the Scion name, after having a tC and looking at the amount of cars Scion is actually selling (i was driving the tC yesterday and in literally 20 min i saw atleast 10)

but like one of the other posters said, if i has a Toyota name it wont generate the "younger" crowed i assume this car would be after (GenCoupe competitor??)
but the resale value will stay higher then when it would be under the Scion name.

the way i see it now is that i bought the tC for around 19k new if i were to sell it now i would be LUCKY to get 8k in my opinion (after my brothers wrecks and such)
but if i bought a corolla or a camry (if they fit in that price range) im sure the resale would be a bit higher, correct?

I dont think it will be less than 22k

seeing that new Tiburon as 22k I would think the Toyota/Subie coupe would cost about 24-25

As a Toyota/Scion dealer I hope
Are you a "dealer" or a salesman/manager at a dealership? Big difference.

Couldn't care less. If I had to go on styling cues I'd say Scion as its cars fit the look better than the typical stodgy Toyota look.
