What would you buy? The most obvious choice to me is an M5... but there's just something about spending that kind of money and looking roughly the same as every other bimmer on the road (and there are a ton of them!).
Oh and in case you're wondering why it has to be new...my wife has an unnatual fear of buying used...

Depends on what I wanted in a car.
Fastest possible would be the Z06, best choice for me would probably be the M5 also.
Dumbest choice would be a fully loaded Cayman S, god forbid someone suggest that

I'd probably roll the E63 AMG.

do you *have* to spend the $85k?
What about a cheaper car with some modifications? is that allowed?
How about a Harley F250 crewcab 4x4 diesel (roughly $50k) with some power modifications
how about an RS4? they blend in though, but depending on where you live, the AWD could work, they are pretty quick, etc....
Escalade? SRT8 Jeep?
a leftover but new 2005 nsx for $80k or so?

I like the RS4 idea; I live in MN so the AWD would be greatly appreciated maybe 10-12 days out of the year...but like the M, it blends...and I have more of a problem buying a juiced up A4 than I would buying a juiced up 5 series...
Dude, I don't think that truck would even fit in my garage.
I love the cayman s but a tough sell when a) it's 2 seats and b) you can practically get a 911 for that price.
