I pushed an FX35 with 20's/sport through some turns today. I was generally well impressed. Even on a bumpy road I never felt that the SUV was at all unsafe or a rollover risk. The ABS brakes seemed to engage early with bumps but not badly. The only thing that I didn't love was the auto tranny. It seemed to hunt much more than I would have expected. It this thing had had a six speed they wouldn't have been able to pry me out of it.

 

sweeeeet...this is going to be my next car....thanks all for the feedback. I've searched and searched but cant find any negative feedback on this car, so i'm going to go for it. FX35 touring sport please!

 

I think the RWD will be fine for Florida. I live in Utah, and AWD would be something I'd want. Good luck with it.
