Default Infinity G35 coupe

i had the change to test drive it the other day.

very well balanced and responsive. the interior was nicely appointed in leather and had the nav package too.
the only problem was that it was manumatic.

i'll have to test drive the manual when the dealership gets it next month.

has anyone considered trading their s2000 for a g35c?

I was considered, but no, even I really like the G35 Coupe leather with 6 speed. maybe because it's going to be very common in everywhere. the power seat doesn't have memory function. I will still waiting for the US GTR version to come out or just get a CLK 55.

Hell no. We don't need another Nissan.

Actually, I did sell my S2000 and bought a G35 Coupe 6MT. I originally drive an automatic and we very unimpressed. Then I found a manual coupe and was very impressed, it felt like a different car. Much less body roll, much better brakes and steering feel. I bought the car on the spot. No, it is not as razor sharp as an s2000, but that is why I was growing to dislike the S2000 as a daily driver. The potholed roads around here plus the S2000 really caused me to have back pains. Don't get me wrong, I liked the S2000 alot, just not as a daily driver.

So far I have very few complaints about the G35 coupe. Great compromise for performance and comfort.

I was seeriously considering the 6 sp MT G35 coupe as my new car when the lease runs out on my current car. I really like the looks of the exterior, and the price is unbeatable. I had a chance to sit in one at the LA autoshow, and was most unimpressed with the interior. I thought the materials were cheap, the plastic flimsy. I am still debating. I sat in the Honda Accord coupe and the interior is light years ahead of the Nissan/Infiniti line. Debating between the two now.

Fanman-

I was comparing the G35 coupe to an Acura CL typeS...I had the same initial thoughts regarding the interior. But driving the two there was a night and day difference. The CL TypeS was one of the best driving FWD cars I have driven. Awesome LSD and transmission, but it is still a FWD car with what seemed to be not enough in the braking department. Coming from the S2000, I needed something that would preform. The near 50/50 weight distribution of the G35 helped sell me. The Acura tended to understeer more.
