The new bimmers look too "tinny."
Like they'd ping if you touched them. The old bimmers had a solid, heavy look to them. I know it's hard to look heavy and quality, but they do.
The new bimmers have all the weight and substance of a Kia. Will the X5 be spared? It and the M3 are the only nice cars they have left.

Nope, they sold more vehicles. The cars are down but total BMW sales are being propped up by the X3 and X5. I suppose some of the car sales moved to the SUVs but probably not as many as they lost.
