I think he means the two-door M3 coupe (ie, the E36 M3, if I have that correctly). Not the roadster two-door, just the regular coupe (ie, like the BMW 3-Series).

No, NO NO guys he is talking about the m coupe witch is based off of the z3, just with a roof and a funky looking hatchback/wagon rearend. I own an s2000 and a e36 m3, m3 is based off of the 3 series line. By the way my m3 is a '96, so its the same motor. O.K. now that thats settled, I love my s2000, and if I had to part with either one of them, I'd probably sell my testicles to science. But seriously, the motor in the bimmer has loads more torque, and that makes it so much fun to drive around town, but the s handles much, much better, especially in the tighter slower turns say 25-60 mph. I havent driven one of those m coupes yet, but it has the rear suspension of the older m3(think '80's and boxed flairs) I think that the m coupe could be tuned to outperform the s2000 stock, but if mods were a money no problem situation then I think the s would come out on top. The other question is do you want a convert.? Dont think that because you get the m coupe that you will be able to haul alot of crap either, they are small. And then you have to consider the maintenance.

Good luck, Matt

thanks S2Muchfun for correcting me .... ^^;

btw... so you mean S2000 is more like track fun(?) car and M coupe (let say Z3 M coupe) is like
town (?) car?

'cause this up coming car has to my daily drive car so i really don't care about really nice handling car ...

( i'm gonna drop the car anywayz about 1.5~2") S2000=1.5" M coupe=2" ----->something like that ^^

what about M roadster? it's same as M coupe ?

oh~~~~~~man!! this looks like bimmer forum...sorry guys
