There isn't any point to prove, other that fitting a roll cage to a Miata doesn't all of a sudden make it an ultra rigid tube frame track beast, contrary to eggroll's babblings. I simply don't like Miatas. Move on, don't take it personally, it's just an opinion.
I never said it makes it a tube frame car. If you add a proper roll cage, you can increase it's rigidity to the point that it's convertible shortcomings are no longer an issue.

Again, you are relying on straw man arguments. I never said it would be stronger than a tube frame chassis or any of that bullshit. Take that crap somewhere else.

Again, calling me eggroll is not clever. There are plenty of legitimate things about me that you can use to make jokes out of. That's just not very clever... you're smarter than that. Not much, but at least smart enough to recognize how un-funny that is.

With regard to you disliking Miatas, that's ####ing great. I, for one, don't care if you don't like Miatas. Hell, I'd rather have an rx7 than a miata, as I have stated before. I agree with you in that regard. I think the miata is kind of add looking. I own a first gen, and I freaking despise the pop up headlights. In other words, you don't like the miata? Awesome, good for you.

But, if you are going to make the claim that they are shitty track cars based on misinformation, you can expect an argument.

Why did you edit his post and then patently misrepresent the post?
It's a typical e-thug move. Plus, he fails at being clever.

I wonder if him being a paid member has anything to do with him not being banned yet. I'd gladly buy it out. Would be a great way for me to purchase a membership here at lovely Car Talk.

"Win"? LOL. That's like saying I supported GW in a room full of Obama worshippers.
Then let's go to the RX-7 forums. Using a rollcage to increase the rigidity of the miata's chassis will work on this forum or any other. Any forum with intelligent people will be able to recognize that. A change of venue will not help you here man.

ZX-10. Seriously think about this for a second. I know you have deliberately avoided almost every single question I have asked, but just answer this one.

Do you think that if you cut the roof off your FD (or any other reasonably comparable unibody car) that you could not create a stronger version of that roof structure out of welded steel tubes?

Yes or now, and why?

True story. I'll but two memberships if they revoke his. If I recall correctly, Steve C was a paid member and he got banned. This really just seems inevitable.

a long time ago on Honda-tech, they had what they called "honda-tech survivor". Just like the TV show Survivor, they all voted. The top five people who were "voted off" got banned.

That's funny. Let's start this poll in "The Corner"!

He was banned there. Apparently a modest contribution won't buy you immunity from being a douche like it does @ s2ki....
