I never said it makes it a tube frame car. If you add a proper roll cage, you can increase it's rigidity to the point that it's convertible shortcomings are no longer an issue.

With regard to you disliking Miatas, that's ####ing great. I, for one, don't care if you don't like Miatas. Hell, I'd rather have an rx7 than a miata, as I have stated before. I agree with you in that regard. I think the miata is kind of add looking. I own a first gen, and I freaking despise the pop up headlights. In other words, you don't like the miata? Awesome, good for you.

But, if you are going to make the claim that they are shitty track cars based on misinformation, you can expect an argument.

Then let's go to the RX-7 forums. Using a rollcage to increase the rigidity of the miata's chassis will work on this forum or any other. Any forum with intelligent people will be able to recognize that. A change of venue will not help you here man.

Do you think that if you cut the roof off your FD (or any other reasonably comparable unibody car) that you could not create a stronger version of that roof structure out of welded steel tubes?

a long time ago on Honda-tech, they had what they called "honda-tech survivor". Just like the TV show Survivor, they all voted. The top five people who were "voted off" got banned.
