Is it just me, or did DC finally step up w/this?

It would make one heck of a family hauler. Get the wife and kids to church in 2 minutes flat. I bet it sounds pretty cool too with the 6.1L Hemi revving out to 6500rpm.
If I were in the market for a fast sedan, it would absolutely be on my list.

I really like the 300C SRT8 too.... i don't like them well enough to buy one but they are pretty nice!
100%
I just love the exterior look, but it has to be a darker color than the silver so the chrome details show off better. This really is Bonnie and Clyde's new ride.

The Magnum and Charger SRT-8 look better to me, and they lose the ghetto vibe that comes from the 300. SRT-8 is impressive - finally the return of a high-po RWD 4-door V8 American CAR. There hasn't been anything like this since the 90's Impala SS, which is still popular today. Marauder was a pretender, IMO. But the SRT-8 is for real - 425HP, 400+ ft-lb, good 5-speed auto, good brakes, tuned German suspension, all for around $33k (if you can wait a little while there will be no shortage, they are gearing up to produce up to 25,000 6.1L per year). Somewhere I read the SRT-8 posts nearly identical times to an old Roadrunner Hemi. Funny when you think about, in today's $3/gallon gasoline, a person looking at these cars would have to make a decision between the V6, the base V8, or the crazed street Hemi. Maybe not too far off from the person deciding between the 340, 440, or 426 in the old days. Magnum SRT-8 is on my short list.

That's a great car and for the price you cannot beat it. I rented a regular C300 and I was quite impressed with the interior. It felt top notch and a lot of parts are used from the E class. That car is not only fast but handles well too.
For low $40k nothing comes close.
