RO machine at work drops the minerals back in. It's tasty (and relatively inexpensive).

Now I may just be a small town rice lawyer but I do hereby declare that cooking your rice with a little bit of Valvoline 5W-20 is perfectly legal!!

I've read about plenty about the "hungry water" phenomena, and even if there is some validity to it (not really any empirical evidence on it), I'd still feel better using my RO system as opposed to my tap water.

I live in an oil producing area, and our water is of very poor quality (even after municipal filtration).
